Midwest Hair Academy

Midwest Hair Academy is committed to prepare each student for the real job market. We feel that just obtaining a license is not enough. The students must be trained to perform services in all areas of our industry. These areas include: men’s and women’s hair cutting and styling, clipper cutting, perms, roller sets and hair coloring. In addition, our students learn customer service, which we feel is very important. Our students also learn positive mental attitude, goal setting, and business management.

Through this knowledge comes the skill and confidence to succeed in the professional workplace.

The average stylist of today is a man or woman who works in clean, pleasant surroundings and is recognized for his or her skills. The stylist who is skilled, courteous and considerate of his customers can build his business until time is the only thing that can limit his income.

Changes over the past few years have created unlimited opportunities for men and women. Today they are trained to offer full service to any customer, man or woman, regardless of the type of cut or style desired.

Any person, regardless of sex, race or creed, may start a hairstyling career and enjoy the increased prestige of being a professional.

How do I graduate?

Graduation is not in a calendar year. It is based on the individual student’s ability to attend the state mandated number of required hours. Upon successful completion of 1,500 hours, a diploma and transcripts will be awarded which makes you eligible for state boards and licensing. The average time to complete the course is 9 months.

What are the tuition costs?

At Midwest Hair Academy, we have a variety of financial plans available to the qualified student. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
